We welcome you to come Meet and Join the Barony of Caer Mear at the Tower for an enjoyable day of learning, fun, relaxation, food, and socialization! This 1 day event is geared towards trying new things, learning new skills, participating in various groups and/or activities, and enjoying time recreating history and ideas from the middle ages. Are you new to the SCA and want a fun introduction to eventing before this year"s major camping events?.... Then this is the event for you!!! Classes, activities, and people to help explain different aspects of this game are planned and ready to help! Are you a seasoned member looking for a fun, low key, enjoyable day with friends?.... This is also the event for you! Come with a group or by yourself, there is plenty to see and do for all ages and experience levels!!!

| Fighting | Our wonderful Baronial Marshals will be offering Heavy Fighting, Rapier, and Thrown Weapons! Sir Balin D"Acier and Sir Bryce de Byram will be hosting Heavy Fighting. Lord Steffan von Musbach will be hosting Rapier Fighting. And Lady Rose Eileen Robertson will be hosting Thrown Weapons. |

| Feast: | Feast is $8/person, no matter age, and will be limited to pre-registered individuals. If you wish to join us for a marvelously prepared meal, please make sure you and your guests pre-register! Nuts (primarily almond) will be used in different dishes and labeled/announced as such. There will be vegetarian friendly items. If you wish to register to take part in feast and have a specific dietary concerns, please contact the cook at least 1 week before pre-registration closes so your questions may be addressed. 434-238-5409 Belles15@vt.edu *If you wish to stay for dinner as an off-board participant with your own meal, please let us know so additional side tables/ space can be provided.* |

| Registration Notes: | Registration closes the Tuesday before the event (April 23rd). ***If you are a newcomer to the SCA and this is one of your first 3 events you will be attending, Please let the Event Steward know! We would love to know you are attending and we look forward to meeting you!*** Refund requests must be sent to the event Reservationist. No refunds for feast shall be made unless received seven or more days prior to the event. The Reservationist must receive all event fee refund requests in writing or by email no later than 5 days after the closing of the event. |
