Hawkwood Baronial Birthday XX: The Great Unicorn Hunt!

Just as Hawkwood begins our preparations for our 20th birthday, the report comes in - the great and noble unicorn has been sighted in our lands! So thus do we, Hawkwood, send out the call to all of Atlantia! Join us as we ride out in search of the Great Unicorn! A birthday celebration like no other, featuring tournaments, competitions, and more! We meet at our outpost in Old Fort, North Carolina and venture forth on May 10th - 12th, with the "main event" happening on May 11th! See you all soon!

FightingFighting will feature a Titan"s Tournament for both Heavy and Rapier fighting!  Heavy will be fighting a William Marshal Tournament, Rapier will be fighting a To The Pain tournament!  May the best fighters win!
Arts & Sciences:All of our A&S events involve the magnificent UNICORN!  Included events are: Best in Show Unicorn (or Hobby Horse), So Fluffy I Could Die!, Show me the Sparkle!, Craft a Unicorn Horn, Bardic Myths and Legends, and Baroness Theresa"s Unicorn Largess Competition!
Feast:Feast will be cooked by the magnificent Patronne Murienne l"aloiere. The menu is French themed, menu may be found on our website.  Please consult this if you have dietary restrictions!
Merchanting:
Other:Site is entirely outdoors. It is dog friendly, wet, and welcoming to "messy" A&S displays. Site is somewhat primitive and may not be accessible to those with mobility requirements. It is flat ground but is grassy. No Handicapped parking, but the parking is very close to the event area. Registration Notes:Cancelation and Refund Policy: Event refunds must be provided as follows: A. Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to the start of the event will be refunded once the funds have cleared and may be processed at the Baronial Exchequer’s earliest convenience regardless of the profit or loss of the event. B. No refunds will be given if the event does not make a profit. C. No refunds will be given to those who have checked in with gate. D. The Baronial Exchequer must receive refund requests in writing no later than five business days after the close of the event. Exceptions may be made by authorization of the Exchequer in consultation with the Event Steward and the Seneschal. The Exchequers email address is: exchequer@hawkwood.atlantia.sca.org ; E. All refunds must be paid by check and must not be issued until the event receipts have been received and all reservation checks have been deposited. No individual refund may be issued until that reservation check has cleared.

Directions:
Take your easiest route to I-40 heading to Old Fort, North Carolina. Take exit 73 toward Old Fort, NC. Turn north on to Catawba Ave, heading toward the town of Old Fort. Drive for approx .4 miles and turn right on to Railroad St. Follow Railroad St until it connects with Lackey Town Rd, and turn left on to Lackey Town Rd (Approx .2 miles). Follow Lackey Town Rd to Bud Hogan Drive (.5 miles). Turn left onto Bud Hogan Drive. You will see Davidson"s Fort ahead of you.
